Founded 1911 by Dr. Felix Meiner (1883-1965) in Leipzig with overtaking the 1868 born series "Philosophische Bibliothek" the publishing house concentrated on the field of humanities ever since. Main steps in the history of the Felix Meiner Publishers are provided in the chronology.
